with Mia Michelle Marie in Hatillo de Aguirre, Costa Rica
7 nights in Hatillo de Aguirre, Costa Rica
Mon May 01 - Mon May 08, 2017
Daily Yoga Classes: (classes will be held each day in the late morning giving you plenty of time to sleep in or have a delicious cup of Costa Rican coffee before practice)
Day 1: Beltane (May Day)/New Moon… along the wheel of the year there are auspicious dates that mark the seasons change and shifting energies in the universe. OH What a time to Create! First spring festival AND a New Moon! This will be a practice honoring both the masculine and the feminine divine evoking all new spring energies to create your most inspired life.
Day 2: Asana the journey not the instagram: We all do it, scroll thru our instagram feed and get motivated to do that ONE POSE… we are inspired by the beauty and grace of professional yogis and then we throw ourselves up against the wall and take a picture! Look ma, no hands!! #yogaselfie… but what about the journey? What about the spaces in between? This practice brings attention to the transitions between postures (not poses, posing is what you do for the camera!)
Day 3: No matter where you go, there you are… so you might as well learn to sit with yourself! Finding peace in stillness. This practice will help you to calm the monkey mind, the parts that scream like the Costa Rican Howler Monkeys and the ones that chatter away insensibly. With “Rocket Yoga” and other type of fast paced yoga practices taking the mat at super lightning speed this practice will show you the power of slow.
Day 4: What goes down comes back up… on the yoga mat anyway. Wanna learn how to FLY!? The secret is not to lift up, but to press down. This practice will help you find your center and your foundation on the earth so that you can soar in arm balances and inversions.
Day 5: Yoga on the beach… what more needs to be said!? ;)
Day 6: “Life is either a great adventure or nothing”… Helen Keller. Adventure can be found on the mat by taking risks and going for it! This practice will invite you to do some scary things, to step outside of your comfort zone and challenge yourself to not only be inspired, but to be inspiring!
Day:7 Travel with an adventurous heart and an open mind, and bring me home any exotic souvenir that you can find… said all my friends every time I leave to adventure! This is a closing ceremony practice that will keep you inspired for future adventures and a Vagabond Vinyasa retreat TBA. It is my wish that the lessons learned on the mat and the memories from our adventures will be the most exotic souvenir.

ALL yogis (the serious and the just curious) will feel empowered in my classes.
This is a non competitive practice so please feel welcome to CTFO and let that shit go... no one here cares if you have the newest Lulus or can rock handstand... without taking myself too seriously, I create fun yoga sequences that are geared toward your modern lifestyle and western bodytype.
Please stay after any of my classes and ask me for some one-on-one assistance or for advice on the best place in town for a brew or vino!
