with Jesse Shroyer in San Francisco, Mexico
6 nights in San Francisco, Mexico
Sun Apr 23 - Sat Apr 29, 2017
Perched amidst majestically swaying palm trees, the Tailwind Jungle Lodge is a sustainable jungle lodge, yoga retreat center and adventure company on the Mexican Pacific. Our motto? Enjoy life! Between yoga, kayaking, hiking, SUP, yoga and relaxing in the hammock, it's definitely easy to do just that.
The Tailwind Jungle Lodge was founded by an adventurous American family in 2007. The lodge's creatively designed, tree-house like bungalows, palapas and casitas are nestled amidst 5 acres of truly stunning jungle ridges descending to breathtaking beaches of white sand. The lodge is located on a spectacular coastline, just north of the charming town of San Pancho (official name, San Francisco) in the state of Nayarit, Mexico.
With optional activities including holistic cooking classes, this retreat will help get your mind and body ready for the upcoming summer season.

Jesse is a 200HR-RYT based in Kansas City, MO. She teaches a fun, powerful vinyasa flow but also loves to slow things down with deep stretch and meditation. Jesse has taught cheerleading camps for over 12 years and has always loved working with people. After being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2012, yoga was a huge part of her recovery physically and mentally by learning techniques to overcome severe anxiety that had developed with the stress of an autoimmune disease. Realizing the benefits of yoga went truly beyond the fun physical aspect she began her teacher training in 2014 to share that gift with others.
Jesse loves making people feel good with hands on physical adjustments and providing a relaxing, easy atmosphere for students to laugh, enjoy the process and explore new things in postures and within themselves.
You can find her in Kansas City with #Rosathedog generally exploring parks and patios!

My trip exceeded all expectations! My group was wonderful and the accommodations were perfect for a week of soul-searching and adventure. The food was incredible and location unreal. I would definitely book at Tailwind again.
Really, a perfect retreat. The only negatives would be cost of car transport to and from the Lodge and San Pancho. Otherwise, ever single element of the trip was beyond expectations.
This was one of the best experiences of my life. Our hosts at Tailwind were beautiful souls who made every day better than the last.
An amazing adventure in the jungle! The facilities were unique, the food was incredible, and the hostess's were the most inspiring, kind women! Tamara was very gracious, and always available for any requests or concerns. Jungle Judy's vitality is amazing!
We left the concrete jungle in favour of the Mexican jungle with 10 others to stay at the Tailwind Lodge in San Pancho/San Fransisco for 6 days of yoga, incredible food, sun and unforgettable scenery. We had an open-air room in the jungle, camping in style. Our Chefs were amazing preparing the healthiest and tastiest Mexican food accommodating our vegans in the group. Our yoga platform was high up among the tree tops and looked out into the Pacific ocean. Our yoga sessions were set against the sound of waves and birds. During the week we enjoyed stand-up paddle boarding, hiking and kayaking in the ocean, as well as a trip into San Pancho and Sayulita. The 30 min hike to a beautiful and quiet private beach adds just the perfect amount of exercise and excitement. I highly recommend this retreat location and look forward to returning.
Had a great time. Would do again anytime.
This trip was energizing, replenishing, and heart opening. Loved every minute!
