Yoga has played such a transformative role in Lisa's life, and has been committed to sharing her passion with as many people as possible. She found yoga at the tender age of 19 when she was feeling stuck in an abusive relationship that left her feeing very defeated and extremely negative. Yoga allowed her to tap into her own inner strength, and since then, she has never turned back!
Lisa is the co-owner of Dana Hot Yoga, and is the Director of the Dana Hot Yoga 200 and 500 Hour Teacher Training programs. You can practice with her abroad on Yoga Retreats around the world, or come practice with her at all the Dana locations.
Lisa is the author of the books Don't Be an Asshole Yoga Teacher and 7 Secrets of a Successful Yoga Teacher (available on Amazon.com) and was featured on the TV Show, Yoga Sutra Now on the Veria Network. She is a consultant for Young Living Essential Oils, and has been a contributing author for MindBodyGreen, Elephant Journal, and Greenster.
Lisa is an E-RYT 500 and has received yoga certifications from some pioneers in the yoga world, including Baron Baptiste and Sri Dharma Mittra. She has also learned from a variety of teachers including but not limited to David Garrigues, Kino MacGregor, Sharon Gannon, Kathryn Budig, and Sean Corne to name a few. She is also a doctoral level educator, and has conducted research on the benefits of using yoga as a tool to increase social reciprocity in students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
She invites you to share her passion for personal growth, physical movement and deep connection with our true selves by practicing her fun, yet meditative flows.
THE HAPPY HAMLET IS
An old farm. Endless nature around. Centuries-old stone buildings.
A sauna in a barrel. A natural swimming pool (in the making).
Secret spots and special hideaways. Tranquil ambiance. Happy people.
Themed retreats. Inspiring instructors. Relaxing, refreshing - and fun.
Good food from the garden. Green around and green in mind.
Good for you.
Oh and you should also know that
THE HAPPY HAMLET ISN'T
A “typical” retreat center. A luxury anything. A trendy anything.
A standard anything. Anything that isn’t good for you.
Includes daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
