The retreat venue, Blue Osa, is located about 8 miles south of Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica, which National Geographic Magazine labeled “the most biologically intense place on Earth.” Surrounded by ocean as your focal point and costa rican jungle as your background, you will feel the effects of how nature can restore you physically, mentally and emotionally as well as enhancing your eating habits with farm-to-table food.
Each day you will enjoy an energizing morning vinyasa class and a blissful slow flow evening class, along with guided meditations each day. This will be a life changing opportunity to live the pure life, PURA VIDA as ubiquitously used among Costa Rican's. This trip will be the perfect place to relax, explore and heal yourself.

Bee Bosnak is a Turkish native Londoner based in New York City. She teaches public classes at Equinox, Exhale and House of Jai, designs private classes to Manhattanites and offers corporate yoga to hedge funds and startups. She brings her love of creativity to life through the teachings of yoga, meditation and reiki.
She is the creator of Heal Yourself, a comprehensive yoga system designed to enhance the capacity of the emotional body while exploring the strength of the physical body. As a student of many forms of yoga, Bee's teachings focus on contentment, ease and truth. Her guidance helps practitioners combine hope, awareness, self-reflection, and strength to create a beautiful reality.
As a teacher and healer, her purpose is to help her students discover their self through the self. Bee has been featured on many publications and graced the covers of many international yoga magazines. The yoga retreat to Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica was what I initially thought would be a get-away to a warm place with some physical yoga classes here and there. It ended up being so much more. My initial hesitation prior to going on the trip was traveling as a woman, on my own-I had never done that before. After speaking with Bee prior to the trip, I learned that the majority of people on these trips travel solo, so I took a chance and it ended up being one of the best, happiest decisions I’ve ever made. First, the backdrop of Puerto Jimenez was magical. It’s an eco resort by the sea. There were many wild animals, including howler monkeys, titi monkeys, macaws, iguanas, toads, colorful butterflies, and toucans around the property living in harmony. The structure of our days was perfect. I have been practicing yoga for under a year, and felt that Bee structured the classes very well-they were balanced with both challenge and ease with excellent timing. We had an energizing, physically demanding yoga class in the morning and a more restorative, thought provoking class in the evenings. In between, we had farm-to table meals prepared by the very nice, talented, and hospitable Blue Osa staff, that were unbelievable. The food brought me so much joy. The only downside to the trip, which had nothing to do with Bee or the Blue Osa staff, who were so kind, was the location of my room. It was located right under the yoga studio, so I could hear people walking back and forth and jumping, early in the morning/late morning and in the evenings-it woke me up several times from naps or if I went to bed early. My favorite part of the day, was watching the sunrise at 5 AM, and I’m not a morning person by any means. I live in NY, which is a huge city with many distractions. This retreat ended up being a meaningful trip on so many levels. I connected to nature, to my fellow group-mates, and most importantly, to myself and found the tranquility and quiet I realized I missed. I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone that is open and looking for a multi layer, profound and joyful experience. Bee has a very special gift and understanding of yoga in both aspects of the physical science and mindful meditation/thought. She brings this knowledge to each of her students that personally left me with better physical strength/flexibility, peace and a broadened perspective.
