My classes are engaging, deep and thoughtful. You’ll laugh, you’ll swear, you'll melt into the depths of your subconscious, and you will feel more connected to being you in this body you have today than you have ever felt before. I am a body-positive yoga instructor and hypnotherapist. The source of my inspiration to bring body positivity into your life began when, as a hypnotherapist, I worked with several professional martial artists, yoga teachers, scientists and engineers and found that body shame doesn’t have a particular size, occupation, gender or age and it prevents us from living our life fully. When we feel good in our bodies we are able to make choices that benefit us. When we feel negatively, it tends to hinder us in living our most authentic and rewarding life. I first began teaching in Los Angeles, then Brea, CA (North Orange County) and I have had the pleasure of sharing my practice in Desert Hot Springs, New York, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, San Francisco, Austin and San Antonio Texas. I believe Yoga is for everyone, but not all poses are one size fits all. I teach from a functional anatomy model, meaning that your body is unique therefore your poses are unique. So much more goes into a pose than aesthetics.
I’m also a master teacher trainer in the Core Strength Vinyasa style, and have had an unrequited thirst for knowledge with a plethora of trainings in yoga and other fields of study under my belt such as Curvy Yoga, Hatha, Anusara, Yin, Hypnotherapy, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Guided Imagery, Meditation, and more.
