Monica found yoga in her early twenties, but yoga became Monica´s lifestyle after leaving a career in finance when the economy fell in 2008. She found herself jobless and had a lot of time to think about how she could live her passion full-time.

Monica found yoga in her early twenties, but yoga became Monica´s lifestyle after leaving a career in finance in 2008. She completed both, 200 RYT & 500 RYT certifications from Yax Yoga Concepts. Her practice is deeply rooted in the Yax's therapeutic system for both mind and body. Since 2012, she has taught over 2,000 hrs of all level of instruction and multiple workshops. Her approach to yoga is to encourage self-discovery by providing a guided path for the sole purpose of remembering who we are, our interconnectedness and wholeness. She has two beautiful daughters who remind her to stay light everyday.
