She quickly discovered the transformative healing powers of yoga and began her journey of further learning and sharing the gifts of the practice. She has traveled the country and trained with some of the top yoga masters in the world in the Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara and Vinyasa traditions as well as meditation and philosophy scholars accumulating over 2000 hours of trainings. She has been teaching for over a decade while deepening her studies in the art of teaching, manual adjusting, anatomy and physiology, therapeutics, philosophy and meditation.

Karen teaches all levels of classes, private and therapeutic yoga, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings. Her teachings are a fusion of all of her trainings with a focus on alignment and the breath, cultivating awareness on how to gain more strength and flexibility in the body and bring serenity and freedom to the heart and mind. She enjoys guiding and empowering students to help them recognize and achieve their greatest potential.
