Both Christen (Kalispell, Montana) and Astrid (Atlanta, Georgia) are 500-hour ERYT instructors.

Astrid has led numerous teacher trainings as well as regional and international retreats. She believes deeply in the power of yoga to create community, inspire personal growth, and facilitate deep healing. Her classes are intelligently sequenced and alignment based, and incorporate mythic storytelling, pranayama, yoga philosophy and meditation. Astrid was named “Best Yoga Teacher In Atlanta” by several publications before she relocated to Northwest Montana to pursue a seasonal career with the National Park Service and enjoy the inspiring beauty of living in one of the world’s last great places.

Christen is a horse lover and continued seeker of knowledge--originally a dedicated Bikram yogini her 18 year yoga journey has lead her to the realms of Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Chakra Balancing and teaching the yogic phiilosophies--her specialty is the ego study called The Ennegram of Personality. This year she fully acquired her own studio-Mandala Montana Hot Yoga-a life long dream--none-the-less on "406" or "Montana" day, April 6th of 2018. She not only believes but knows the deep healing powers of yoga and wishes to share them for purposes of healing and awareness--which is the soul work of her heart and life.

Together these two have come together to create a powerful and harmonious retreat. Each day will have a morning class with Astrid, a noontime class with Christen and they will team teach at night. We would love to have you join in all of the yoga that is offered, however this is your retreat and you may choose which classes to attend. We will not be devising any other activities for you on this retreat so you have full control over your time off the mat to do as you wish. Feel free to get a massage, surf, kayak, paddleboard, be a beach bum or maybe even go to a local town if you wish. Be dedicated to the yoga, but make sure it is fun and relaxing for you!
