By 2010, she was practicing asana, pranayama and meditating every week. With her B.A. in anthropology she learned to see through the cultural shrouds that can blind us to our depths. Bernie has been a Yoga Teacher in Residence for two years at the Center for Healing Therapies, in addition to co-organizing their yoga program. In her classes, you may spend a lot of time sharing what you are experiencing physically, selecting tarot cards to inspire your intentions, jamming to some uplifting tunes and of course, laughing heartily with fellow students!

Joining her for her first yoga retreat September 2016, yoga teachers Rev. Rachel Hoath and Justine Miller. Rev. Rachel Hoath or “Ray” is a Spiritual Counselor and an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher. She has taught Yoga for over 2 years and 1,000 hours. As a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher Ray prides herself in teaching well structured yet intuitively led classes which meet each student where they are at. Students will feel both safe and challenged in her classes as they explore the depths of their own body. Upon leaving students feel stronger, more flexible and balanced on all levels.

Justine Miller began writing poetry as soon as she realized she was left handed. Expression through the written word has lead to transformation and growth through the years. Through many life changes and travels, one thing remained constant, and that was yoga. Justine was accepted and went to study at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health under Devarshi Steven Hartman and Jurian Hughes. Justine encourages her students to take note of shifts in their physical, mental and spiritual journey through self-reflection on and off the mat. Just breathe, Just be, JustYogi.
