I’ve been announcing in classes, posting on social media, following up with students who have expressed interest. I find that asking for their permission to follow up and getting their contact info makes it much easier to send a quick email shortly after to see what questions they have about the trip.
It was scary for me at first to think about selling out a trip, but then I changed my mindset and told myself I could absolutely sell out a trip. If you believe it, you can do it. But the biggest thing to practice is non-attachment. Ultimately your students will choose what’s right for them. Don’t take “no’s” personally and you’ll find the perfect people for your retreat!
